This hospital taught me that for any surgery, you absolutely have to confirm CCTV clearly during the consultation and before surgery. The director appears on broadcasts all over the place, but if you look at comments on YouTube Shorts and the like, there are comments criticizing the CCTV situation (things like “show the CCTV properly”). After seeing that, I realized that they no longer do that strange thing where they show CCTV in a meaningless 3-minute video, but they also don’t properly show it. There’s no longer that weird half-and-half setup. I’m not sure whether there are reviews saying they showed the CCTV right away in this community, but anyway, I spent the most money here among the famous contouring clinics I went to, including many Gangnam contouring hospitals that properly show CCTV, and it cost me in the late 10 million won range. That made me realize how ignorant and lacking I was when choosing a hospital. The results were underwhelming, and even now, a little over a year later, my left cheek feels strange when I touch it, like I’m touching someone else’s flesh. (I think this is less the hospital’s fault and more because contouring surgery itself can’t have a big effect unless you have a certain face shape. But this was the only place that said it would work on a face that wouldn’t benefit from it. In the end, there was no effect, and I saw similar comments to mine in other reviews too.) The director is kind, exactly like they seem in YouTube and other media. But surgery and consultation are separate, and if you’re going for a consultation with surgery as the goal, don’t put too much weight on kindness. You should judge the consultation based mainly on the surgery itself. They gave me the huge realization that if I gloss over things just because I hope the surgery will work, it will only hurt me, and that lesson cost me 16.5 million won. And another truly problematic thing was that after surgery I called to schedule a follow-up check, and they kept delaying it over and over. I wasn’t even telling them my surgery date; I was calling to book a post-op checkup, but they kept saying it couldn’t be done for two weeks or whatever. In the end it was delayed and delayed until they booked it maybe a month later, and then the staff member at the desk who was handling the follow-up appointment by phone said that if a surgery came up on that date I had finally been given after all that delay, my appointment could be canceled? I was so dumbfounded that I asked again, “I’ve already booked this, but if a surgery gets scheduled that day afterward, you’re saying my appointment can be canceled?” And they said yes, basically. LOL. Then what’s the point of making a reservation? Does only the hospital’s schedule matter and mine doesn’t? The whole point of booking early is to fit the schedule, but for patients who had surgery, it seems the system is that you have to beg like, ‘Please...ㅠ please check my progress...’ in order to get seen. Up to now, including that surgery, I’ve been on the operating table four times, and except for this hospital, there isn’t a single one I think badly of now, even if the results were poor, insufficient, or not exactly to my liking. I’m writing only 100% of what I actually experienced, with no lies at all. Still, if I were going to have surgery at this hospital anyway, I have no intention of stopping anyone, and I don’t want to say now, “Why did you do that?” But if someone around me were going to have contouring surgery, I would definitely want to tell them about the hospital I went to.
