At first I went in only thinking about a double eyelid, but the director checked my eyelid-opening strength too and explained that I could also consider correction together. It didn't feel burdensome because he didn't frame it as something I had to do together, but instead told me the options. My eyes have a double eyelid fold, so the line isn't very distinct, but he said it could become a bit sharper if I got the correction done. It was easy to understand because he showed me a direct comparison while looking in the mirror!! The consultation didn't end quickly; he answered each question one by one, so I felt comfortable. I'm not deciding right away and plan to get consultations at other hospitals and compare them first. As a first consultation, the explanation was clear and the atmosphere was fairly comfortable, so I thought it was good.
