I first went to this place because I was planning to do it at this clinic. I got a consultation for removal of L-shaped silicone and revision surgery. I had a CT scan and then the consultation. The wait was long. They said it wasn't contracture and that the L implant was just sitting there properly. When I asked whether the raised tip meant contracture, they said the skin was soft and it wasn't contracture. The CT showed no signs of inflammation. Because I wanted to lower the raised tip, they strongly emphasized autologous rib cartilage and said no other materials would work. I asked whether it was really necessary to use autologous rib cartilage when my current nose has never had the septal cartilage or ear cartilage touched and still has enough material, and they said if I wasn't going to use autologous rib cartilage then the amount of material would be insufficient with anything else, so if I was going to do autologous rib then I should also do the tip, otherwise it would be better to just remove the silicone and live with it. What I couldn't understand here was that they said my nose needed autologous rib cartilage, but then told me that if it wasn't autologous rib, I should just remove the silicone and live with it, which made me lose trust. They emphasized autologous rib cartilage only, without enough consideration or alternatives. Of course I think the doctor was confident in autologous rib cartilage from a surgical point of view, but with all the other cartilage left untouched, the extreme expression of 'either autologous rib or just live with it' wasn't convincing. They said they had done many extreme noses and that this kind of nose was easy, so I wondered if they were just taking the consultation lightly. I went there with high expectations to have surgery, but left disappointed.
