I had surgery using ear cartilage, but because the columella bent, I had early correction. They said the cartilage wasn’t hard enough and had bent, so we should use rib cartilage. I paid extra for donor rib cartilage, but then I developed a severe infection and had a non-open washout. However, the doctor didn’t know the reason. It doesn’t seem like an infection.
