I went here for my first consultation. The coordinator said the septum and ear cartilage would probably be enough, but the doctor said I would likely need rib cartilage.. At other places they said leaving just 10 mm of the septum would be enough, but here they said I’d need to leave 20 mm on each side, so that puzzled me a bit. I’m not sure whether the reason they recommend using rib cartilage is because they want to make big changes and therefore need a lot of cartilage, or because my septum is really that smallㅠ For reference, both other places said the septum could be used. The doctor did a good job of handling the consultation professionally, and after the consultation I was able to understand my nose better. But since they recommended rib cartilage when I hadn’t even considered it, it looks like I’ll just leave it at the consultation.
