Anyway, I waited again, then it was my turn and I went into the consultation. After hearing my story, she quickly listed some recommendations and told me to go back to the waiting room and wait again, so I waited another 20 minutes or so. Finally I got to consult with the doctor, who looked very tired. When I asked what they thought about doing canthoplasty, they just wrote down lateral and lower canthoplasty on the chart without saying whether there was any space in the back. They drew a few lines and said to do it with burial suture. I asked, "It was incision before, would burial suture be okay?" and they said since the incision had already loosened, they didn't really know, but that even if it came undone again, it would be better to have tried burial suture first. I'm doing this because I don't want it to come undone, so the fact that they didn't seem to care whether it came undone again or not didn't feel reassuring, so I just got the consultation and left.
