They designed the surgery plan in the most detailed way, and because they talked about multiple plans and said there would be no problem, I chose this hospital. During my first nose surgery, the nasal valve area collapsed and my left nostril became blocked, and they pointed that out from the beginning too. By the day of surgery, they had explained about two plans. I only wanted full removal, but if the condition turned out to be really bad, I asked them to do additional harvest and reconstruction (in case it collapsed). (I had only understood it as ear cartilage for the nasal tip + silicone.) At other famous removal hospitals, I had CTs, ultrasounds, and various tests, but they only said it was basically just a badly inserted silicone that needed to be taken out. This was the only place that mentioned it seemed like a septal extension had been done, and when they opened me up, it really had been a septal extension... So they changed the plan and, with the plan I had agreed to before surgery, they urgently got renewed consent from my guardian and proceeded with the operation, I was told. Because it was such a complicated surgery, the operation took longer, but thankfully the doctor had a lot of experience, so it seems to have ended safely and well. After the swelling went down, it looked similar to my old nose and I’m very satisfied. These days I think my own nose was much better than a surgery nose ㅠ Before surgery, my left nostril would bleed 2 to 3 times a week, but from after surgery until now I still haven’t had a nosebleed. My nose is open too, so breathing is easier. I’m very satisfied with the functional part, and I like the appearance too. The strange foreign-body feeling is gone, so I’m very happy. Even if several hospitals diagnose you, it seems like they can’t know for sure until they open you up during surgery, so I think it’s best to choose a doctor you can trust. I’m very sensitive to pain, so when I worried about it, the doctor told me not to worry because it wouldn’t hurt, and I was surprised that it really didn’t hurt. Also, I didn’t feel that the doctor, the manager, or the nurses were rude at all; rather, I felt they took good care of me. Even after surgery, if I had questions, the doctor would still consult with me, and I’m just grateful that they performed the surgery well and took care of me ㅠ
