I went for consultations three or four times. The reason was that there were so many people coming in that the consultation details kept changing between the first, second, and third visits. For example, during the first consultation, it was basically like other reviews: keep the support structure moderate, smooth things out while removing it, and for the pinched area use ear cartilage if needed while removing it, which seemed good. Then at the second consultation, they said it was an ear that shouldn't use ear cartilage, and since the pinched area wasn't that severe, they could just proceed as is. Then later the story changed to saying no cartilage should be used at all and it should just be completely removed. Once I finally put down a deposit and started seriously moving forward, they began looking at things more closely and counseling more carefully while checking the changed parts, so I guess it felt burdensome and they canceled my deposit, and later they refused the surgery. It seems like they just didn't need someone meticulous and troublesome, since patients were flooding in anyway.
