A clinic I was torn about until the very end, along with the hospital where I eventually had my final surgery. The director’s consultation was thorough and the explanations were good, but it felt like they left all the decisions to the patient? Both T-osteotomy and bone shaving were possible, but they told me to choose. So I asked which one would be better, and they said T-osteotomy could produce a more definite effect, but that it was my choice. The manager, though, didn’t seem to like bone shaving and kept recommending T-osteotomy.. They were safety-first, but the before-and-after photos were dramatic and the staff were all kind, so I agonized over it. I even paid a deposit, but I ended up not going through with it because another hospital appealed to me more.
