I paid 20,000 won for a consultation, and I wondered whether there was really that much expertise compared to other hospitals. There are many places that are cheaper than this, or even free, but give more professional consultations. Unless you really want to get surgery here, I don't think there's much need to go for a consultation. They said the designs on both sides were different, and that if I went back into eyelid correction while matching the symmetry, it would probably work out well. They said it should improve, and that the pinched feeling could go away, and they explained the Hering phenomenon. The doctor was good, but the hospital staff kept making me move back and forth so much that I got overwhelmed. While I was waiting at the counter, they told me to come inside and wait in the consultation room; then while I was waiting inside, they told me to go back out; then to bring the chart and come back out; then to wait inside again. It was such a mess.... It didn't feel friendly at all, and it was mentally exhausting... The manager didn't feel professional either. It seemed like she knew less about eyelid correction than I did. The same-day discount was huge, and the manager mentioned the deposit two or three times, but when I said I would just pay the consultation fee and leave today, she coolly said that was fine.
