I went because I heard about it through word of mouth, and natural-looking results were my top priority, so I chose it without going around to compare many places. The fact that I could hardly find any bad reviews also influenced my decision. I had revision surgery because my existing double eyelid had been covered by sagging eyes to the point of looking like an inner line, and when they marked the line before surgery, they drew it in more detail and in several different ways than during the first consultation, so I found a line I liked more than the one from the consultation. (So even if you don’t love the line during the consultation, if you want a natural look, I recommend going with Kara.) If you show them a photo you want, they don’t explain it in a very detailed analytical way, but they seem to instinctively understand the kind of look you want. I was planning to do an in-out line, but they said it would be prettier if a little of the inner corner showed, so I trusted the doctor and went slightly higher than the line I originally intended, and in the end it is settling into something like an in-out line with a little of the inner corner showing. Local anesthesia was manageable. It’s been just over a week now, and the swelling is going down quickly and I didn’t get any bruising. People around me say it turned out naturally and well, and so far I’m satisfied too. I’ll add more to the review later once the swelling goes down further.
