I had this surgery when I was in high school, without thinking much. I still remember that when I was consulting, the doctor seemed like they were trying not to laugh at my face, but honestly, when I looked at my face back then, it was funny to me too, so I wasn't really upset. And I remember that during my surgery, they were saying something to a nurse in a not-so-nice way. I didn't have surgery based on personality, so in the end, even though it was something I got on a whim, I'm still reasonably satisfied with it now, 3 years later. It ended up a little lower than the double eyelid line I wanted. But these days I'm looking into nose surgery, and if my double eyelids had been made higher, with nose surgery too, I think I would have ended up looking too obviously done, so I'm satisfied with how it is now. When I had it done, I think most people did it with natural adhesion? and I got it that way too, but I'm a little anxious that it might come undone after a year or so. There are so many double eyelid clinics these days that if I ever do it again, I'll have to think hard about whether to go there or not.
