I had surgery in 2017, using silicone and ear cartilage, and also had nostril reduction. There was some inflammation after the surgery, but after that it was okay. After the splint came off, the silicone gradually bent, and the silicone moved, so now I’m looking into revision surgery. I also have some nostril scarring, and it’s a little disappointing that postoperative care wasn’t handled well.
