The consultation was short, but they explained enough about how the surgery would be done, why it would be done that way, and why other methods would be excessive surgery. I went into surgery for about an hour, and at first I was a bit dizzy, but I rested in the recovery room and then went home. They gave me a cold-compress eye mask and an ice pack, so I've been using them often while waiting for the swelling to go down. I don't know if it will get any better, but right now it looks flattened out and seems fine. There's bruising left around my eyes, so I'm watching it.
