First, I heard good word-of-mouth and gathered information from here and there before going, and the atmosphere was friendlier and more cheerful than other large hospital-level clinics. Meeting a good consultation director is also luck, and she honestly told me about reviews related to epicanthoplasty and lower canthoplasty. I had also gone to two other places besides this hospital, and those two places recommended incisional double-eyelid surgery plus lower/rear canthoplasty, but here they said to do it without incision and that if canthoplasty is not absolutely necessary, don’t do it and just do it later if I feel the need. Just that made it not feel like overtreatment, which was good. The doctor was kind and thorough, and above all, he had this overwhelming confidence that made me trust him. Would telling me directly, “Trust me,” make me feel reassured?.. At the moment, this hospital is the most likely place for me to get the procedure.
