I had a consultation with Director Kim Joo-hyun. My eyes have thick eyelids, so I thought I would only be able to do full incision, but here they recommended partial incision. They said that even with full incision there is still a chance it could come undone, and that my eyes could be handled with partial incision alone. They slightly recommended ptosis correction, but said I did not have to do it if I did not want to. I asked whether there was room for a lateral canthoplasty, and they said it would not have much effect, and that an inner canthoplasty would be better. The doctor looked a bit tired, and I wondered if that was because the schedule was so full. What was disappointing was that I asked whether my eyelids had more fat or whether the skin was thicker, and they just glanced at it and said I had a lot of fat, which compared poorly to another clinic that had me close and open my eyes while they palpated. Since partial incision has the fastest recovery, I am still debating it.
