The hospital felt very systematic and well managed. Clean and luxurious. And I met the chief doctor for a revision-surgery consultation, but the whole consultation didn’t even last 10 minutes. From a patient’s point of view, I think it’s natural to ask whether something will improve, how much better it will get, and why. But even that is something they’d still fail to understand if you brought in a medical student, so what about an ordinary person? Even after I explained it, they said they didn’t know. And when I said whether the sunken marks were improving and that I wanted to fix them because they made it obvious I’d had surgery, they just kept scolding me, saying, “Of course it looks like you had surgery if you had surgery. Wanting it to look natural even after surgery is being greedy.” ... I wondered if they’d been stressed out by patients for a long time.. maybe it felt like they were venting? My mood was so bad the whole consultation, and since I couldn’t bring myself to say anything more, I stopped asking questions, and they just got up and left without even saying hello or goodbye. I felt really terrible. Then the manager also explained while showing before-and-after photos, but the week-1 progress that was clearly written there was said to be week 3.. it just felt like they were talking in a very scattered way. There was a bit of pressure to make a same-day reservation.
