There were very few days when I had time, so I thought it was surprising that this was a hospital where I could book a same-day consultation. It also made me wonder if the consultation process at plastic surgery clinics has changed like this now. And when I said I wanted a consultation with a specific doctor because I liked that doctor's reviews, they asked me whether I had had surgery with that doctor before. I hadn't, so I said no and visited at the scheduled consultation time, and I think I should have sensed something was off from that point on. The consultation itself was good, though. The director was very kind, there was no pressure to pay a deposit, and the doctor I was connected with drew my lines so neatly that I immediately decided I would get surgery.
