I had a somewhat high bridge with a hump nose and a thin nose. My original nose wasn’t bad, so I hoped to just smooth down the hump and lift the tip a little, but it ended up becoming an extremely glamorous nose. Before surgery, I visited 8 places, and most of them said to use ear cartilage + no implant... but here they used autologous costal cartilage + silicone to raise the starting point of the nose, and my nose became massively larger. I wanted a straight-but-slightly-curved line, but it became a completely straight nose (a manly nose), and a handsome nose at that.. Even now, 1 year and 2 months later, people still only say my nose is too high ㅠ The silicone started showing through, there was a step between the silicone and the costal cartilage, and the round edge of the costal cartilage showed through at the tip.. I really wanted to remove the silicone, so I requested AS, but they said silicone removal + shaving the costal cartilage + use of autologous dermis (costal) would be 110 dollars. But the doctor in charge said this was the best possible result and did not recommend reoperation, so I thought about it and eventually canceled and booked a revision consultation at another hospital.
