I heard that even just a bulbous nose or a hump nose by itself is considered difficult and that surgery is hard. I have both a hump and a bulbous nose, so when I visited clinics, I tended to look mainly at places that specialize in noses. Most of them also recommended autologous rib cartilage for things like implants.. Personally, I was somewhat put off by autologous rib cartilage because I had seen reviews saying it can be painful and people suffered because of the scar. For a while, even after going to consultations, I really struggled over it. But after I had a consultation with Dr. Lee Seung-chan recently, a lot of that burden was lifted. I went because, based on my own research, it seemed like Dr. Lee had a wide range of surgical experience with noses. Maybe because of that, I liked that the visual materials he used as examples when explaining things were varied. He also seemed to understand well where patients feel burdened when receiving autologous rib cartilage, and he explained things with that in mind. Those points were what gave me trust more than anything else, so for now he is my number one in my mind.
