I had no double eyelids at all and had tiny, slit-like eyes, so because my eyes were like that, people I met for the first time would ask me if I was really Korean; My upper eyelids are quite a bit thicker than other people's. So I would occasionally make double eyelids with eyelid tape, but after going around like that for about two years, the skin on my upper eyelids gradually started sagging. At work, my boss also asked me several times if I was sleeping ㅜ I was looking at the monitor with my eyes opened as wide as possible,, anyway, that made me decide to get double-eyelid surgery. My company is also near Gangnam Station, so I booked an appointment to fit my lunch break, and since I was leaving in the middle of work I repeatedly asked them to please pay attention to any delays. I went for my first consultation today, and when I entered the clinic, they arranged the counselor and doctor consultations right away so I wouldn't have to wait as much as possible, which I appreciated. Honestly, when I was searching online I saw a lot of posts saying they had to wait forever, so I thought that would happen to me too, but I liked that they were being considerate. Also, for the consultation, my skin is very thick, there is a lot of fat inside, and the sagging is severe, so they recommended incision surgery. There was also a brief mention of brow lift? The doctor kept touching my eyelids and adjusting the line, then said that just eye correction might be enough. I said I wanted an outer line, but because of my skin thickness, a high line would look like a sausage, so the compromise was found, and in my current eye condition the highest possible was semi-outer. My friend also works in Gangnam, so we went together for consultation, and while looking at them drawing the line next to me, he told me not to get greedy because even that is high enough, so I think I'll have to go with semi-outerㅋㅋㅋㅋ And I said my eyes were tiny and slit-like, so I definitely wanted a lateral canthoplasty, but the doctor said my lower eye area was more blocked than the outer corner ㅜ..... So if I do a canthal procedure, it will probably be outer plus lower together. For now, this is just the first clinic, so I'll visit more. I'm going to choose a clinic where surgery is possible in a direction as close as possible to what I want, given my condition. The consultation was professional and I liked that they didn't over-recommend other procedures. The clinic was white, so it felt clean, and since it's a private clinic, it felt a little small? But I actually liked that.
