I had a consultation for revision of epicanthoplasty widening. There was no consultation fee, and maybe because it was peak season, there were a lot of people and some waiting. Including the consultation time, it took about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The consultation was kind and thorough. In my case, after the inner corner of my eyes was opened, the space between my eyebrows looked too narrow, so I had a revision done at another clinic, but it did not improve and only left a scar, so I was looking into re-revision. My goal was to improve the distance between my eyebrows and remove the scar. They explained in detail how the shape of the inner corners and the distance between the eyebrows could be improved, and how much scar removal might be possible. I got a quote for axis rotation and epicanthoplasty revision, and was told I could choose whichever direction I wanted. I had never heard the term axis rotation before, but they said it combines revision and upper canthoplasty at the same time, so it helps improve a sharp-looking eye and reduce the change in eye size. Since it adds another widening procedure, there was a pretty big price difference between the two surgeries, but there was no push to choose the more expensive one, and no pressure to book immediately. I liked that they explained my questions from multiple angles as someone who would actually undergo surgery, and I also liked that they told me in advance about the anesthesia method and surgery time. I still plan to visit more places because this is a re-revision, but so far this was the consultation I was most satisfied with.
