I said I was worried about lower eyelid fat repositioning, asymmetry, and double eyelids. They connected me to Director Kim Hong-jin, saying he is good at middle-aged surgery. Later, when I applied for a consultation through Babitalk and said I wanted to consult with Director Do Eon-rok, they said if I changed doctors there would be a 30,000 won consultation fee, which would be refunded if I proceeded with surgery. They said the original doctor-change consultation fee was 50,000 won. -Doctor consultation: Looking at the photos taken earlier on a computer screen, he adjusted the line using that very weird thing and said the line would not work.. probably because too much fat was removed in the previous surgery, the line would not work. He said even with surgery it was not certain that a double fold would not form. He also said the other eye, because of age, had sagging, but he did not even give an estimate for the right side. He said there would likely be no dramatic effect after surgery and it was unclear whether the post-surgery double fold issue would be solved. And he estimated surgery for the eye as both lower eyelids only, and for double-eyelid surgery only one side. Only one eye surgery for 3 million won.. sigh. I was grateful for the doctor’s honest words, anyway the doctor was kind, but honestly I felt pretty bad about the director consultation. If I had known in advance there was a consultation fee for changing doctors, I would have consulted with Director Do Eon-rok... Because she herself said middle-aged surgery is really well done by Director Kim, I was connected there. Sigh.. Anyway, ■Surgery cost estimate The notes I had written disappeared, but roughly both lower eyelid fat repositioning, one eye incision surgery, one eye front canthoplasty, with discount, roughly 3 million won = one-side front canthoplasty + one-side incision double-eyelid surgery + both lower eyelids. The surgery cost is reasonable, but I think if you do not know the cause of the double line, you cannot know the result. Because I do not want the double line to come back again, I think I need to keep looking around again.
