While looking for a hospital for revision surgery because of sausage eyes, I saw that they were mentioned and recommended far more than others, so I went for a consultation. I’ve been to a lot of factory-style clinics, but this one didn’t feel like that at all and honestly felt like a university hospital (?) The wait was long, but it was peak season and I figured it would be long given how often they were mentioned, so I waited until the end and got the consultation. I first met with the manager and then the chief surgeon. Honestly, there were a lot of comments saying he was scary, so I was a bit intimidated going in, but after meeting him, objectively speaking, he was the textbook T type. I think it would be hard to consult if you’re the kind of person who doesn’t have anything specific you want and can’t clearly say what you want because you’re confused. Even if you have a lot of requests, if you explain them clearly, he tells you plainly whether something can or can’t be done and checks the line with you in the mirror several times to see whether it works. For my personality, this style of consultation suited me better. In a situation where I needed revision surgery because of sausage eyes, I think clear explanations like “this can be done, and here’s why” or “this can’t be done, and here’s why” are much more helpful than “it should work~” I really felt the consultation was helpful and good for me
