I had my lower lateral canthoplasty done non-incision at another hospital, but it stuck back together completely after 3 months, so I had it done with incision at this clinic. They said it was relatively easier than other surgeries, or maybe because I knew exactly what I wanted, but the consultation only took 10 minutes, and I actually waited about 40 minutes...ㅋㅋ Still, the reason I had surgery here was that the before-and-after difference was the biggest and the shape was pretty. I just got my 5-week checkup and I'm writing this right awayㅎ The stitches were removed at week 1, but the next day I suddenly developed severe conjunctival edema, and even medicine didn't bring it down, so as soon as I hit week 2 I went in and had the swelling drained. From week 4 onward it felt less like I had had surgery, and now it feels a little awkward when I smile with my eyes, but I think it'll get better with time. I'm living alone, so I went to my mom's house after a month, and when my mom saw my eyes she said they were pretty and that I did wellㅎㅎ Compared with before surgery, they feel about 2.5 times bigger, and even if they close a bit more from here, I don't think it'll make that much of a difference.
