This is a review of secondary canthoplasty. My eye shape felt heavy, so I had an epicanthoplasty, but only the lacrimal caruncle was overly exposed and the Mongolian fold was still left, so I went for a consultation and had surgery right away. It’s been 3 weeks now. I think they refined the shape of the lacrimal caruncle with revision epicanthoplasty and removed the Mongolian fold, but I don’t remember the details clearly. I worried my eyes would look smaller after the revision, but they also did an upper canthoplasty, so I don’t think the size difference is noticeable. Because of swelling and scar tissue, the shape is still... I’ll need to watch it for a lot longer. I also hope there won’t be much scarring.
