I had a double eyelid revision surgery and then forgot about it for a while... I have front nose surgery planned, so while I was looking up reviews, I decided to leave a review about the eye surgery I had as well. It's been a year since my double eyelid revision surgery, and by "forgot about it" I mean it went so well that I had no side effects at all... 큐큨ㅋㅋㅋ... At the consultation, I didn't really think, "Wow, they're super kind," but I did think the director was meticulous and calm, and had a good eye for aesthetics. Maybe you'd call it aesthetic sense? I went in for medial epicanthoplasty revision, but they said the problem wasn't the medial canthus... My double eyelid line was too high + the design on both sides was different + the height of both eyes was different, so the asymmetry was severe from the start + there was a big difference in how strongly I could open each eye + and I had to use my forehead to open my eyes, giving me a sleepy look. My first surgery was two years earlier in Incheon, where I had double eyelid surgery and medial epicanthoplasty at the time. I got stressed because I ended up with sausage eyes and my impression changed a lot, but looking back, it was actually a total mess... So I worried a lot before the surgery... There weren't that many revision surgery reviews, so I was even more nervous.... During the consultation, the counselor also strongly said I should definitely get eye muscle correction lol, and the director didn't go that far but did recommend it, so I decided on incision double eyelid revision surgery + eye muscle correction. A year later, I am very satisfied with my eyes. The double eyelid line was communicated well, and I really love the line, so I still applaud it. My eyes were reborn from that total mess into a balanced pair... Maybe the director majored in fine arts as a double major? The way they balanced both sides is so impressive. I'm most glad that I probably won't need another revision in the future. But the eye muscle correction feels a bit weaker now than right after surgery. I was so scared it would be overcorrected that I asked the director to do it as gently as possible, so maybe that's why. But it doesn't feel like it came undone; it's just not as tight as it was right after surgery, when it was swollen and stiff but opened wide with a strong snap... A year later, that wasn't the case anymore... Because of my habit, even if I force my eyes open, they still tend to open like half-eyes again, so that's a little disappointing. If I could go back, I wouldn't ask the director to go easy on the eye muscle correction and would just trust them completely... The surgery seems to have gone unusually well. Even when I visited after surgery, they kept saying it had turned out well, and I felt the same way myself, so I was really happy. The swelling actually went down mostly within just a few days, which even surprised the director... I'm just grateful. The first time, my eyes were all bruised up... I said the eye muscle correction hurt, but during the surgery itself, apart from the pulling sensation, it was okay. It did hurt at the time, but I was tearing a lot... I remember the director kept telling me not to cry... After the double eyelid revision, they said they would provide aftercare too and told me to come in for scar laser treatment, but I was too busy with work so I couldn't visit... Personally, I'm very grateful. If someone says they're going to get their eyes done, I'd personally recommend this place. They do a good, meticulous job and understand exactly what the problem is. But I recommend it for people who know exactly what they want. Since the doctor is very meticulous, it should be for people who like that kind of style... I'm not that type, so I was a little tired physically, but I'm satisfied with the surgery result.
