It's been almost a year since the surgery, and after the initial stitch removal or whatever it was, from that point my eye folds became uneven. Up until then, the strong impression my eyes gave had softened, so I took comfort in that. After a little over a month, one side opened up badly into a D shape. The asymmetry got even worse too. Before the revision surgery, only the double-eyelid height was different; the eye shape itself was the same. When I asked about it, they said it could open up if I used my facial muscles a lot or something. If that were the case, I wouldn't have had surgeryㅋㅋ I'm not lying, I didn't use facial expressions and I even stopped going out because I didn't want to scar, and I just stayed home, but at some point it suddenly opened up a lot. Right now both sides are in a D shape, with the right side smaller and the left side wider, and I'm living with thatㅋㅋ So the eye shape itself looks seriously asymmetricalㅋㅋ At least the scars are mostly gone now, so I just keep living without saying much. I feel like even if I had more surgery it would turn out the same, and I'd only end up with more scars, so I just rationalize it and live with itㅋ When I look at photos other people took of me, my asymmetry gets so bad that I sometimes suddenly get mentally wrecked. What am I supposed to do? Do I just have to live like this foreverㅋㅋ Or should I get revision surgery againㅋ Then I'd worry about scars again, and it's really stressing me out.
