I visited because I was looking into epicanthic fold revision and they were famous for micro-revision. When I looked at the reviews, there weren’t any eyes that really caught my attention, and to me they were a bit like a dull, sleepy style. The consultation was thorough, measuring the space between my eyebrows with a ruler. Since I was there, I also asked about other things besides epicanthic fold revision, and they answered honestly whether they recommended them or not. Even though the consultation was fine, the reason my expectations for surgery were low was that my lacrimal caruncle wasn’t very exposed and the hook scar wasn’t that severe, so they said it would be hard to get a big effect. That’s why I had been looking into micro-revision, but they said scars from epicanthic fold revision could remain, and the Mongolian fold could come down more than it is now. I also felt like the director wasn’t quite catching what I wanted, but overall it was not a bad consultation. However, they pressured me to join a review event, and if I participated, anesthesia cost an extra 100,000 won. They said I only had to write a review if I was asked, but that was basically no different from indirectly saying they would promote only the successful surgeries. Personally, no matter how famous a hospital is, if they pressure me into review events or same-day booking, I don’t trust it. I was told deleting reviews would be difficult. There was no direct pressure from the consultation manager to book surgery, but when I said I was thinking of doing it in the second half of the year without specifying an exact date, they subtly scared me by saying the price could change. In the end, I decided not to have surgery for now. There was no separate consultation fee.
