First consulted in Daegu for my eyes and nose, and this was my first consultation in Gangnam. The facility is a single, integrated building, and I was surprised that each floor also had such a high level of interior design. Since it’s the off-season, there weren’t many people and it didn’t seem very busy. The director’s assistant was kind during the consultation, and the younger surgeon was kind too. They analyzed my face to some extent before the consultation, and it was roughly right, so I felt trust. Because I have a high, fleshy nose, they said they couldn’t raise the tip much and would need to build up the bridge quite a bit. They suggested a thin non-incisional partial double-eyelid line. Since my septum is deviated, they recommended costal cartilage. If costal cartilage is added, the cost comes to 529 plus, but they discounted it by almost 1,000. It’s based on making a deposit and reserving, but even if it feels wasteful, I’m thinking of looking around more first, so I’m holding off. No consultation fee. Separately, they seem to be very good at sales, everyone. They matched me well. Still, rather than recommending something precisely tailored, it felt more like they were trying to fit as much as possible to what I wanted? Surprisingly conservative. One downside was that they don’t assign the silicone in advance, but measure it in the operating room, which I found a little odd. And rather than a clear sense of exactly what they would do, it felt like they glossed over it vaguely? I was worried because it’s a large hospital, but maybe that’s the off-season? They were kinder than I expected, and honestly I came in for my first consultation with a fairly light heart, but I ended up seriously thinking about it. I just hope the surgery result turns out well..
