There is an event on Gangnam Unni for 700,000 won per area, tax excluded. I went specifically to Director Jeong Seong-heum. At first, the manager came in and consulted with me. They asked where my concerns were and showed me before-and-after photos. Some clinics apparently take ultrasound photos and check how thick the fat layer is, but they didn't do that here. The manager said that if I wanted an effect on my side profile, I would probably need to remove a bit of deep cheek fat together with the jawline fat. If I remove the cheeks, swelling could be severe; if I only remove the jawline, there wouldn't really be much swelling. They also explained the surgery method and aftercare. The doctor came in quite late because he was busy with surgery. He looked a bit tired. He asked me about the area of concern while looking in the mirror. When I said I wanted my jawline to look smoother, he said it might be better to remove a little from the upper cheek as well. When I said I didn't have much desire for changes from the front, he said to try just the jawline first, and if I liked it, come back for the cheeks. No pressure. He said I don't have an enormous amount of fat, but that there would still be an effect. The manager came back and asked when I would have the surgery. If I didn't book for the same day, they said it would be 1.1 million won. They were subtly pushy about booking. They also said that if I didn't set a surgery date, the deposit could be canceled at any time and fully refunded. The clinic felt neither big nor small, just so-so.
