I went for a revision rhinoplasty consultation because even after surgery my nose still felt very bulbous. The director looked at my nose and immediately said that my bridge is currently low compared with my facial proportions, and that the bulbous-tip correction on the nasal tip does not seem to have been done properly. He said that if I have this much basic columella, then even with a revision the columella would not be cut and the bulbous tip could be corrected nicely, and suggested raising the bridge from 3 to 4. For the tip, he said if I had a particular look in mind, he would shape it that way, and that I could even show photos of the look I wanted, which surprised me. The consultation was very specific, and it felt like he was looking at my whole face rather than just my nose. He seemed to pick up on what I wanted well, so I was satisfied with the consultation.
