It has been over 6 months since my nose surgery. My nose was very low, so I had surgery using autologous costal cartilage. They said donor rib cartilage could have been used too, but because my nose was so low, the doctor thought autologous costal cartilage would be sturdier, so that’s how we proceeded. Because my nose was so low, even after surgery it looks really natural and nobody knows I had it done... I was aiming for something more glamorous ㅠㅠ so that part is disappointing, but I think they operated in a way that suits my face. The doctor was bursting with pride in his own surgery... that was also part of why I had it done. The consultation manager was a bit off-putting because she used a half-formal tone in the middle... The other coordinator was good at explaining things on the surgery day and was kind.
