I went for a lower canthoplasty revision because the reviews were the best there. I live in the countryside, so I booked a date by phone and had surgery right away. The doctor was very insistent on upselling. I had already had outer and lower canthoplasty, and since outer canthoplasty wouldn’t be effective for my eyes, I had decided to do only lower canthoplasty. But they kept saying it would look strange, and that the dark circles under my eyes wouldn’t improve with under-eye fat repositioning because my skin was too thin. I had already had a consultation elsewhere and had no intention of doing it, but they also recommended under-eye fat repositioning. When I said no, they kept saying the lower canthoplasty and the repositioning would be in the same area, so if I wanted the repositioning later, the lower canthoplasty would be distorted and the repositioning cost would go up. They pushed the upsell until the end. I had already come prepared to have the lower canthoplasty done, so I did it, but I wish they would have backed off when the patient said no.
