I booked after a forehead lift consultation and went in on surgery day I had changed into the surgical gown, but they tried to take photos without a consent form, so I said I wouldn't be photographed, and they said they had to take them under medical law, but when I checked online it didn't seem true?! So since it was a forehead lift anyway, I said I'd wear a mask and take the photo with my upper face visible, and that because the lower part wouldn't show in the photo I would accept any impact on the surgical result, so I covered from the middle of my nose downward with a mask and took the photo But then they made me wait in the recovery room in my surgical gown for about 20 minutes, and when they came back late to write the surgery consent form, the consultation manager told me to write what she dictated while looking at notes she'd written on a Post-it At first she didn't even show me the Post-it, so I argued that I should at least see the contents first, and when I did, it said, 'I will not raise any objections regarding the surgical result because I did not take photos' I mean, this isn't a small procedure, it's a forehead lift, and they're saying if the doctor does whatever they want during surgery, I can't even say anything? Does that make sense? So I said I couldn't write it like that, and that I'd only accept the disadvantage from having covered the lower part for the photo like I said earlier. She said she'd go talk to the director and left Then she came back and said they couldn't do the surgery, and that they'd refund the surgery reservation fee too. So I said I wouldn't do it either and left I canceled the card payment for the surgery fee and wrote my account number for the reservation fee on another Post-it before leaving, but they said the reservation fee transfer would take two weeks^^ The surgery consultation and explanation were good by the doctor, but their attitude on the day of surgery was like that (actually I couldn't even see the face on the surgery day), and the manager.. even when I asked about medicine I needed to buy before surgery and such, they answered in a cursory way. The tone was polite but there was no substance, if I have to put it that way.. anyway it was a bit strange, so it was on my mind, but maybe it was a relief not to go through with it
