When I went for a consultation for double eyelid revision and my first nose surgery, I focused more on my eyes than my nose, so I chose Dream because the doctor was famous for doing eyes well. But honestly, I wasn’t very satisfied with either one, so I’m now looking into revision surgery. The consultation itself wasn’t very specific either. It ended quickly with things like what materials would be used and that this line would be better. The waiting time was much longer. Still, at least my eyes came out somewhat similar to the line I wanted, but the clinic’s characteristic deep fixation point gives a strongly pinched look, so it feels unnatural. For my nose, when I met the doctor before surgery, I understand they usually do a final pen design, but there was no design process at all and nothing particularly notable was said, so I felt uneasy going into the operating room. We had decided to go with a straight-but-slightly-high bridge, but it ended up as an excessively high curved-line nose.. Beyond the height, it didn’t suit my face at all. Because I have a short nose, we decided to lower the columella, but they lowered it too much, making my midface look longer and turning it into an arrow nose. Within less than a month the columella started bending, and when I went for my 6-month follow-up, they did a simple non-open revision to correct the bent columella, lower the tip a bit, and raise the columella a little, but even when I looked in the mirror in the recovery room right after surgery, the columella still wasn’t fully corrected, and in the end it bent again. Maybe they also didn’t bring the columella in enough, because it sagged and still looks like an arrow nose with a longer midface, and overall the nose droops downward and doesn’t look good.
