I was recommended square jaw, zygoma, cortical bone removal, and masseter reduction. [Consultation with Director Lim Jong-woo] The doctor was very kind and explained things very directly. He said I have enough space to work on the cheekbones, and that I am lucky because my nerve line is high, plus my face shape is a nuisance. My features are pretty, but my face shape is just U-shaped. He said my cheekbones make me look older and give me an angry impression. He said that if only my facial contour improved, my eyes would look bigger and my nose would look higher, and that I had a high potential to become prettier. He almost had me hooked. Unlike the other doctors, he had a very sales-like way of speaking, but it did hook me and I did like it. He showed me before-and-after photos, and they definitely had a very dramatic feel. Doll-like line? But it was not my style (I personally prefer naturalness). [Consultation with the manager] But the manager was too pushy, so I did not like it. To get a free cancellation, I ended up paying a 500,000 won deposit almost like I was being squeezed, but I got it back about 2 weeks later. And they said that because our hospital does not use drainage, swelling is less. The manager also kept grilling me about where else I had booked, and when I said I was going to another hospital later, she badmouthed them, saying they use drainage and asking whether the director there is not old-fashioned. In the end, when I called to say I was going to another hospital, she tried very hard to stop me then too. She said not to go there and to come here instead, and that they would discount more money too... I was completely fed up. And our hospital director kept saying they do not overtreat and might even send you home... but instead of trust, it just felt like they were in on it together.
