The doctor was kind, and although it was called a blunt truth, it was already a weakness I knew about, so I didn't feel bad. However, for the surgery, they said they only removed a very small amount of fat. If that was the case, I wondered why I even needed to undergo fat-removal surgery in the first place. They said my cheekbones were flat like a desk, but I hardly had 90-degree cheekbones to begin with, so what really mattered was the 45-degree cheekbone effect. So far, I don't seem to look much different from before. I thought maybe I only needed the square jaw surgery, but because they said my cheekbones were flat like a desk, I expected improvement in that area and in the 45-degree cheekbones, but I guess I'll have to wait until the swelling goes down. The square jaw seems to have worked well, and after the swelling goes down I'll be able to tell whether the lifting and buccal fat removal were done properly. I'm hoping they didn't recommend it for nothing and that it actually had some effect. The consultant was very aggressive and salesy, and the way she spoke was a bit mood-dependent. She said she was an early member, and aside from her, everyone else seemed kind.
