I’m thin but only my face was puffy, so I went in for a consultation. At first they said it looked like I had no fat to remove, but after looking with ultrasound they said I had a lot of fat, so I had the surgery with high expectations. But instead, the asymmetry I hadn’t even noticed before became more pronounced, and one jawline? cheek? line became unevenㅠ (This isn’t the usual hollowing side effect of liposuction; the jawline itself has sunk in, so I’m looking into fat grafting for the uneven part because it seems like it might get better with that.) +) I went to another clinic for a consultation and they said the fat was removed well -> then why did I have no effect.. Everyone around me who knows I had the surgery can’t tell what changed. I was dissatisfied because of the asymmetry and the hollowed jawline, but the doctor was honest and did work hard on the surgery, that much is true, and being safety-minded is also definitely true! I’m grateful there were no bigger complications. The doctor isn’t AI or Leonardo da Vinci, and I think side effects like this can happen (it’s not enough to interfere with daily life, just annoying whenever I look in the mirror, and if I tell acquaintances, they go, oh, now that you mention it, I guess so). +) Seven months later, I feel like my face has gotten a bit slimmer.. or maybe not
