I had my procedure with Dr. Choi, who is no longer here, 5 years ago. It’s fair to say he brought brightness back to my eyes. I told him, “Please don’t do anything too drastic,” and he made it exactly the way I wanted. If I don’t say anything, no one can tell I had surgery. The head of the counseling room was very pushy and pressured me to have surgery back then, so that part was really disappointing, and the hospital atmosphere doesn’t seem all that different even now... After the surgery, I rested for about 30 minutes in a factory-like space with beds lined up in a row (the spaces are partitioned off) and then went home lol But the nurses were kind, so it wasn’t bad. I was really worried about the stitches too, but it didn’t hurt at all!!
