I went there to get another procedure, and they recommended fat repositioning, so I went ahead with surgery after the consultation without knowing anything. I thought that since they said it was a simple procedure, it would be something that wouldn’t make a big change like a treatment, or at least something I could easily reverse even if it went wrong, but I crossed a point of no return. If lower-eye fat removal is done too aggressively, instead of just removing protruding fat, the area under the eyes becomes hollow and: 1. In dim light, shadows form according to the shape of the bone 2. In bright light, it actually looks more sunken and hollow 3. When looking downward, the skin under the eyes can curl inward as a side effect and it can’t be restored. After going to another clinic too, I was told that rather than lower-eye fat repositioning, they would have recommended only fat grafting, and I agree as well. They removed fat from under my eyes when they shouldn’t even have recommended repositioning in the first place, so the result was only natural. I regret my past self for not thinking it through more carefully. The more I looked into it, the more I saw that there are quite a few people like me who went in for another procedure, were recommended this, had surgery, and then complained of side effects, so if you want to avoid making the biggest regret of your life, please research enough to decide whether any surgery is truly right for you. Even if a doctor recommends it, in the end they’re still just another person, and it’s your own subjective judgment. My personal wish is that they wouldn’t recommend procedures people never even considered in the first place. I’m dissatisfied not only with the surgical result but also because I received no aftercare at all.
