It seems the default counseling attitude of the director here is to be sarcastic. If, in the director's view, the patient seeking consultation is not a suitable candidate for the procedure, shouldn't the proper order be to explain why they are not suitable and how they would change if they did it, rather than recommending against it outright? Even when I asked why it was not recommended, he just brushed it off with something like, 'That's the kind of procedure for people like this (before-and-after photos), not for you.' So I got frustrated and asked, 'Then how would it change if I did it?' and he said, 'How would I know?' After that, no matter what I asked, he kept saying things like, 'How would I know?' It felt like talking to a wall, so I said okay and left without getting the procedure. This was the first time I've heard this kind of sarcastic, snide tone at a plastic surgery consultation, beyond simple indifference or lack of sincerity. I even felt personally humiliated. Even if I raised a problem like this, they probably wouldn't care because their schedule is booked out for months, so I'm sure they would keep responding to other patients with the same sarcasm. It's really disappointing. If you're someone who truly needs the procedure and is going to visit, I think it might be fine to go. As for me, I will never need to get a procedure in the future, so I have no standing to judge their skill one way or the other, but according to many reviews, their procedure skill is excellent. They emphasized in a YouTube video that you must come in and consult with the doctor to see whether your case is suitable, so I booked and waited for months, only to end up feeling like the fool.
