2-year review of back-and-lower canthoplasty! I had the heart-shaped canthoplasty opening the outer and lower corners of the eyes, and at the time of surgery I was satisfied with how much the eyes were opened! However, when I smiled my eyes became wave-shaped, and after about a year they gradually stuck back together. Honestly, with lower canthoplasty, I think it’s unavoidable that they can reattach over time because of the nature of the procedure. I hope everyone understands that in general, the duration of effect doesn’t last very long. Right now the skin under my eyes has stretched, but it’s not fixed like before and has come back again ㅠ I think it has gotten slightly bigger than before the surgery. Side effect: They used dissolvable thread and tied it around the cheekbone area, and maybe because of that, from about a year and a half later, my right cheekbone would intermittently feel sharp, cold, and painful. Still, in the short term I was satisfied :)
