It was my first cosmetic surgery, so I wasn't really sure what I should ask. They explained the things that needed explaining, and when I asked questions they tried to help me understand with drawings. But after going around to other clinics, I got the feeling that the explanations about precautions and surgical details weren't that meticulous. The annoying part was that when doing a forehead lift, resection of the corrugator muscles is naturally included, but they charged extra as if it were a separate procedure (200,000 won). The head surgeon said the event discount didn't apply, so the price was different. They say the double eyelid surgery is 900,000 won with the first-look event price, but the advertised price is 450,000 won, so it's a twofold difference (my eyes don't have a high line and I was going to make them very thin, so I don't think this counts as a difficult double eyelid case). For the one-month follow-up after the lift, they said they'd give me a service injection that helps if hair loss occurs, but if you don't have hair loss they won't give it. -> A lot of places provide that as a basic service. Still, if I went to another clinic for the double eyelid surgery, extra charges would probably be unavoidable anyway, and I couldn't really find a clinic that does lift and double eyelid surgery together, has an anesthesia specialist, and has a decent reputation for lifts, so I booked surgery here.
