At other clinics they told me I needed every surgery that was supposedly unnecessary, so I was surprised. The doctor also seemed to just take a rough look based on the consultant’s explanation, and although I said I didn’t want epicanthoplasty, he assumed I would get it and said semi-out was possible too. I don’t even usually hear that I look sleepy, but he said I’d probably hear that. Instead of bringing out the strengths of my eyes and maximizing them, it felt like a factory-style place trying to find flaws and make me into the kind of pretty eyes the doctor had in mind. The consultant was kind and not scary, but there was a bit of pressure to put down a deposit.
