I got lip fillers twice at a place famous for them, but they kept making me look like Doraemon^^... so I moved to Dress and settled there. The consultation at the first place was very detailed and kind, but honestly Dress is completely factory-style... Instead, it’s cheaper, so for someone like me who doesn’t need professional consultation about filler types or the exact shape they want, it seems fine. But apparently the filler injection method differs by clinic? At the previous clinic, they injected the filler with many small pokes in areas that weren’t too deep in the lips. The filler itself wasn’t imported; it was the most expensive domestic filler, but for some reason when the filler dissolved, I got lumping inside my mouth. When I got it done at Dress, I was worried it would lump again, so I got Restylane Kysse, and before the injection I asked if it needed to be dissolved first, but they said there was no need, so I just got it done. They didn’t do dozens of injections like the previous clinic, and the director explained that she injects a little closer to the muscle, because that’s how the filler settles beautifully without changing shape. The shape turned out well, I didn’t become Doraemon, and there was no lumping, so I was really satisfied with everything and will go backㅠㅠ But for some reason, after getting it done, the swelling starts gradually from the same day, and by the next day my lips swell so hard that I can’t go outside; it’s never been like that before. Maybe Restylane doesn’t suit me, but both times I swelled, and this hard swelling lasts about 3 days and only starts to look somewhat natural after about a week, so I’m wondering whether I should change the filler type next timeㅠㅠ
