I went because in an open chat room I saw someone who had a jaw that looked like a prognathous jaw made to not look like a prognathous jaw with just contouring, and I also had a bit of a prognathous jaw. The price being relatively cheap was another reason... too cheap feels like a guinea pig, but this was mid-range. The doctor wasn’t exactly kind. Funny thing is, my assigned coordinator was so good to me that I have a good memory of it. Maybe because the director has that kind of personality, my coordinator figured out in advance what I wanted in a bunch of different ways. (If not, I think I would’ve gotten scolded a lot ㅠ) I was afraid of side effects from T-osteotomy, so I did bone shaving instead. There’s a bit of asymmetry, but I think it’s acceptable. I asked them to leave the square jaw area, but it wasn’t left, so that was disappointing. They shaved a lot of the cortical bone. Maybe because they shaved my chin so much, my double chin got way worse, so I’m looking into double chin surgery. I think that’s more because they shaved a lot rather than a hospital problem. I got an Indian fold. I said I had a prognathous-jaw look and asked them to shave the jaw, but the director advised against it; I still asked them to do it, and the prognathous-jaw feeling disappeared so I’m satisfied. But I ended up with a weak chin and my facial proportions got weird, so I supplemented with chin filler. It feels like I should have needed a T-osteotomy face, so maybe it would have been better if they had recommended it back then. I also had paranasal augmentation, but my nose got pulled upward so I ended up looking like a pig nose... I’m thinking about lowering the alar base.
