<The review is a little long~ lol> My teeth weren't extremely unattractive, but because of my rabbit-like front teeth and asymmetrical gums, they never looked pretty whenever I took photos, so after thinking about it for years, I finally got veneer treatment. I had 7 upper veneers + Zoom whitening + gum contouring~ and I had root canal treatment on my two front teeth. (They said they could feel sensitive if I didn't.) At my first consultation, I went in thinking I would only do 4 upper teeth, but they said that considering the spacing and harmony with the adjacent teeth, 6 would be appropriate. One of my left lateral incisors is an implant tooth~ So unlike what I had thought, the number increased from 4 to 6.. (the pressure of the price burdenㅜ^ㅜ) Since I was already doing it, I asked them to do the tooth next to it on the left that had been covered with a crown too, so it became 7 in total. After that, when they take an impression, a model of my teeth comes out like a plaster cast(?), and the future reshaped tooth shape gets added onto the model~ Seeing the teeth I had always been used to become small and neat was so fascinating... I just kept thinking I wanted them to become like that quickly.. lol I started getting so impatient~ They trimmed my teeth according to that shape and attached temporary teeth over them. The temporary teeth were less noticeable than I expected and looked real, so there was nothing uncomfortable in daily life. (But they said not to eat things like curry because of staining.) When you go back about 10 days later, the teeth made of porcelain are ready, and after removing the temporary teeth, they lightly place them on top of my teeth and ask if I like the shape~ They tell you to look closely and decide. I said I liked them~ that they were pretty, and please attach them quickly! while inside I was thinking, finally the treatment is all over~~~ yay~! but......... But then.. the director looked at them and said the axis of the front teeth was slightly tilted to the left. It wasn't very noticeable, but if I was okay with it, he suggested waiting 3-4 more days and correcting them again before attaching them....ㅠㅠ sob~ Still, these are teeth I have to live with attached for about 10-15 years.. Since I thought it would be better to listen to the director anyway... I had no choice but to get the temporary teeth attached again and go back home. Because of the anesthesia, the area around my mouth looked totally like Maicol..ㅠㅠ Since I had to go around alone, it was even more embarrassing. Then 3-4 days later, I came back after finishing the treatment perfectly~ lol Now that the whole procedure is finally over, I really like it~! When I first had the temporary teeth, maybe because my teeth had been shaved, they throbbed a bit and I couldn't get used to them, so I couldn't even bite through ramen, but now, although they don't feel 100% like my old teeth, they feel about 80-90% like my own teeth. They said after about 6 months to 1 year, they will feel even firmer and more comfortable~ The cost was a bit expensive, but still, I'm very satisfied now. If there is one very slight regret, I wonder if I should have made the color a little whiter? But if I had made them whiter, they might not have matched my lower teeth and might have looked unnatural... I think they look a bit whiter in real life than in the photos lol But people's minds are so fickle~ When I first had the temporary teeth, I thought, they're so pretty!! I look like a different person!! But as time passed, I gradually got used to that shape and started thinking, weren't they always like this? Yesterday, while looking at the before-and-after photos I received at the dental clinic, I thought, my teeth used to look like this? and deeply reflected once again~ lolol I'm uploading front, right, and left photos. ^^ (The pre-treatment photos on the left seem to be slightly bigger~ I don't think my front teeth were originally quite that big..-_-;; lol)
